Hopefully this film can help serve as a wake-up call that chimpanzees are dangerous

Chimps have always had this reputation for being cutesy and fun-loving troublemakers, largely thanks to how they’ve been portrayed in fiction, which has no doubt led many people to believe that they can be kept as pets, even though that’s a terrible idea. Hell, even the Planet of the Apes movies usually depict the chimp characters as noble and heroic. Kudos to this film for not shying away from how violent and unpredictable these things are.

My thoughts exactly, I would feel safer in shark infested waters rather than being in arms reach of a chimpanzee.
How many faces need to be peeled off by “domesticated“ chimps until people get the message.

They are usually baby chimps they show in movies, aren’t they?

I remember around 1986 watching Entertainment Tonight and they had a segment showing the chimp who played Cheetah in the old Tarzan movies. He was this old obnoxious chimp smoking cigarettes.
