Why didn't Neo and Trinity's bodies age?

They didn't age as Niobe did as its been 60 years since Neo brokered peace with the machines. Bodies do age while in the pods, right? Was this explained or did I miss the explanation?

They were rebuilt at a later date.

reply

Rebuilt huh? I would think they need the bodies fresh

reply

One thing that people haven't really talked on is the fact that Neo and Trinity's bodies were effectively rebuilt.

They died. Those bodies are not their original bodies, not in whole anyways. I think their actual composition is unclear even.

I guess their bodies would have been placed in some sort of stasis to prevent decomposition 24-72 hours after death, what I gathered from the film the Analyst would have only taken over and reinserted their rebuilt bodies after the Machines realize too many people are leaving the Power Plant, resulting in electrical grid problems for 01.

I have to watch the film again either way.

reply

You say that so casually, like it means something.

reply

OP asked why aren't Neo and Trinity 60 years older like Niobe.
The poster is suggesting that Neo and Trinity were built later. If they were, then they obviously wouldn't age the same amount of time as Niobe.

reply

Nope,

they were "resurrected" after they died. So those years should had been VERY visible on their bodies.

Funny enough ... their virtual bodies got older, LOL.

NPH techno-babbled so fast thru that explanation, Lana probably wished we wouldn't notice how fucking stupid it sounds when said out loud.

Also, NPH as the big bad Analyst. Are we being trolled?

You are looking for logic where there's non...
It's basically senseless nonsense...
