Anyone else find it weird that Eric Christian Olsen is playing a high school student (presumably 16-17 years old) even though he's 32? He doesn't even look like a teenager...
shareI haven't seen the movie, and I won't, but I was interested to see why so many actors around the age of 25-30 are playing kids. Providing examples of other movies or TV shows where this happens isn't a good excuse. The only reason I bothered to check the age of the actors is because I know that casting adults to play teenagers is prevalent in Hollywood movies. The main issue I have with this is that women are being cast as girls who are suppose to be seen as sex objects. Americans are sensitive about sexual predators, but it's OK to have teenagers portrayed as sex objects as long as the actors playing these roles are eighteen years old or older. It is strange. Why bother making this movie at all?
