I agree. For years my favourite was From Russia with Love but this topped it.

Yes, I’m always surprised at the negative reaction it gets from many Bond fans. It’s definitely my favourite.

Totally - perhaps the best shot Bond movie of all time. Sam Mendes makes great-looking movies.

One of the worst scripts for a Bond movie, though.

It reminds me so much of Die Another Day - great first half, terrible second half. Falls apart after he 'captures' Silva.

Casino Royale (2006) remains the best. But this is very good.
