Fans had been excited to see Mahershala Ali's Blade ever since the movie's announcement in 2019, but the MCU's production issues have killed the hype.
It sure has. Blade's a tricky film because establishing vampires and how they operate throughout all the MCU is a big deal which could eventually effect other movies and shows. They can't just slap together a fun vampire slaying movie. Fringe characters like Blade and Ghost Rider and what not are also the secret sauce when it comes to doing the big team up Event movies. You really gotta get those guys right. Just showing up and looking cool ain't gonna get the job done.

shareoh yeah.... i guess nothing really matters anymore. well shit, they should jump on the bandwagon here and squeeze in Snipe's Blade with the new Blade and throw in a girl Blade and go nuts with it. Get a whole team of Blades battling Super-Dracula who's running from universe to universe pulling a The One maneuver.

sharei dont see the issue. even in the original blade films they are a secret society. while they have international organization they are pretty street level and try and stay out of the spotlight...they have raves and occasionally feed on people, but their whole point is to stay hidden. it would fit perfect in the MCU. you could show that the avengers "heard" of some reports of vampires, but just thought it was silly old wives tales. THor aint about to investigate some street level vampire allegations.
Also i must disagree imo you dont want blade in your "teamup". hes a lone ranger. he operates in the shadows. hes bascially a slightly strong human who goes in, wreaks havoc on vampires with the element of surprise and good fighting, then leaves. How he operates is the antithesis of the avengers.
Blade is Wesley Snipes and always will be.
