if i remember correctly, the 2018 film basically acted as a direct sequel to the original, wiping away all the sequels including 2.
although i was told that this film apparently includes clips from 2, so perhaps they're playing a bit loose with that idea.
i've only seen 2 once, and that was years ago, so i can't confirm that, but i did see a youtube reviewer quite confidently assert that one of the old clips included in kills came out of 2.
well technically Halloween II still exists in a way.
Bracket and his men still end up finding his daughter on the gurney outside with reporter basically.
As for the hospital, Laurie still goes there because of her arm injury. Its unknown if the drunk head doctor got called back to work on Laurie or not since the doctor was at that party shindig.
Bud, Jimmy and the rest of the hospital staff they all survive anyway since Myers got caught in time.
But as for that neighborhood gal that got stabbed where she was next door to the old couple, who know if she still got stabbed or survived
When Halloween (2018) was released, they stated it was a direct sequel to the original, and everything that happened in all the sequels could be disregarded. So in the current Halloween universe, the only movies that count are Halloween (1978), Halloween (2018), and Halloween Kills.
don't forget about Halloween Ends. that's coming out next year.

share2018 was the new part 2. It ignores everything after the original. There's several continuities at this point.
