Better than most horror movies of the last several years

Horror movies are often disappointing. While this one doesn't have a super original topic, and is another haunted-object and ghosts from the other side possessing dumb young people who mess with a cursed mummy hand movie -- something about it just works.

The Boogeyman, Cobweb, Insidious, The Offering, and Smile -- these all lose steam and become the tired old same thing as usual.

Talk to Me kept my interest the whole time, the steady level of creep and dread were on target, and the ending was a nice way to tie up the story.

I find it rare that I really like a horror movie, especially the way the endings fall apart.

According to my tracking list on IMDB, as of today I have watched 160 movies with a release date of 2020 or later that are categorized under 'horror'.

Would you share some of those post 2020 titles that you liked? I would like to find some that I may not have seen.

Definitely best horror film of the year in my opinion.

If anyone's interested, I reviewed the movie on my youtube channel. Appreciate any feedback. Trying to improve -https://youtu.be/GcFQ5zYR4ms
