You are 100% completely caught off guard. No training can prepare you for this. James was a cop he is very very use to things making sense and being logical even when it’s insane logic. But this was completely outside his experience. How does the saying go, “any form of highly advanced science could be confused with magic” something like that.
That’s what James was dealing with, something he just couldn’t comprehend and didn’t have time to comprehend.
Elizabeth on the other hand did. She knew what her ex did and knew what he was capable of and had been dealing with it. Which is why she was able to do more damage. She was already prepared for it. James yeah not so much and honestly just thought Elizabeth was crazy.
That’s why it was a one sided fight because all his training was for a real life situation not something that well is out of a movie.
As a guy, I would just start peeing and spin in a circle. Then I'd hit above where pee drops were floating in the air.

He just looked like a typical roid head. All muscle, no technique. It's actually a hindrance to be that bulky when you're fighting. Makes you stiff and slow.

shareI didnt. Higher muscle mass will result in faster movement, but you train yourself agaisnt it because it usually results in destroyed furniture otherwise, so you have to use it intentionally. Boxers ARE bulky as hell. The problem is we are used to seeing people who use steroids so much we think a highly fit nonsteroid user looks skinny. Look up photos of olympic athletes that are peak human performance but are regularly tested for all kinds of stuff.

LOL you're a blind numpty. Ali was lean and sleek, the last thing he is, is bulky. You could've used Mike Tyson as an example, but instead you chose the worst example possible. Either way it doesn't matter, you'll always find exceptions to the rule. In general, boxers are NOT bulky because it hinders their agility and speed.

shareIndeed the idea of the weasel brother physically besting a big strong, physically fit guy like that in a narrow hallway is incredibly unrealistic, invisible or not. In real life it would be much easier to deal with an invisible person that you know/suspect is invisible and stalking you. Also being invisible isn't going to help a person much in a grappling situation where your opponent is tangled up with you. Which is probably why in this film along with invisibility, the suit seems to also inexplicably give the wearer enhanced strength and agility to move around in complete silence which you can probably chalk up to the film simply wanting to create a greater sense of threat and danger for the protagonists.
