For me it looks OK film and I have seen lot of movies. It has a 70 mil. budget and usually half of the budget goes for marketing the film so here we come to 35 mil. insted of 70 mil. And for me it looks pretty neat for that budget.

I will tell you why, I am not saying I hate it but I can tell you where the hatred is coming from. It appears that took a movie idea that would appeal to males aged 13-49, and casted it for women aged 13-49. Plus the story is seeming to center on a love story rather than kicking the hell out of Titans, Hydras, and maybe a few gods

There is not a single scene or line in the trailer that I havent seen anywhere else.
It is like they took a hundred movies, tried to get the best scenes and lines from them, and decided to put into a movie.
The trailer alone has so many settings, themes and stupid one liners that it makes me think if this isnt the most unoriginal movie EVER.
Outside of the trailer looking a bit cheesy it might also be due to the fact that there is another Hercules movie coming out the same year that people are more excited about. Hollywood coming out with movies that are almost the same is nothing new. But coming out with two unrelated movies that have the same main character is pushing it a little far for me.

This tells you what they cared about when they made the movie..

It's like you took me thoughts from my head and wrote a perfect premonition.
The things that points to this are:
1. No real story.
2. Overly "cute" and "perfect" characters.
3. PG13 rating.
4. Over-the-top-pastel-CGI
5. Cheesy one-liners.
6. Shininess all over.

The budget listed doesn't include marketing. It's just the cost of creating the film.
I don't 'hate' this movie just yet and I'm gonna rate it properly when it comes out, but I'm not impressed by the trailer...
Potential 'Generic movie of the year award' anyone?
Well, we just have to wait and see, but judging by the trailer it ain't gonna be that *bad*, but cliched and trite.
