Well, that was the sickest, goriest, most twisted thing I've seen in quite some time!
Loved it! π (And I definitely have a new favourite final girl β€οΈ)

shareHopefully part 3 is as good (or better). A Christmas setting this time around. A new flick to watch every holiday season hopefully.
shareCould we actually be witnessing the birth of a new, bona fide, ongoing, hardcore slasher franchise??
shareWe could be. Part 2 did very well for a low budget, unrated release. It grossed $15 million on a $250 thousand dollar budget. From what I'm aware of part 3 isn't the finale! We'll be getting a part 4 as well.
shareNice!
sharePart 2 did very well because it was a proper old school practical FX movie that doesn't hold back, and treats its audience as something other than ultra-fragile snowflakes.
Proof that you don't need to spend 300 million dollars and appease Blackrock quotas to make a movie.
Absolutely. Well said.
shareThe part where Art and the little girl were pulling the guts out of the possum? Or whatever it was in the school was disgusting. I've seen a ton of horrors but that was revolting and put me off my dinner the next day because it kept popping into my head. The only other time that's happened was with that film with the weirdo in the bath eating spaghetti and drinking milk. I couldn't eat pasta for months after that π
I read on here that they are using a new effects team for the gore in the third one. Hopefully it doesn't end up as Hollywood looking gore because this film has it's own unique look with the effects. Honestly, some of the gore in this looked kinda cheap but that added to the disgustingness.
Yes, I heard about the new effects team for T3. The thing that gives me hope that they won't **** it up is that the creator/writer/owner of the franchise is an effects guy himself, so I'm hoping he's chosen someone whose style aligns with his own. We will see!
