Is this, and/or the first, actually good?

Please don't spoil anything but...

I've been seeing lots of buzz and chatter about this movie, I don't think I'd even heard of the first one.

Is it worth seeing, and investing in the time to see the first one before terrifier 2?

How would you describe this movie, anything it's similar to?

I saw the trailer for terrifier 1 on IMDb, looks like a low budget schlock fest. Are these like "so bad it's good"

What is the hype about? Tell me if it's good.

Part 2 - better effects, acting, production value, directing, music & sets. Part 2 is not bad for what it is.

it's definetly a lot of fun. terrifier 1 is fun, but it's a pretty run-of-the-mill gorefest. terrifier 2 is much bigger in scope than the first, with a much bigger story.

I did end up watching both. I thought the second one was too long and too over the top. I'm not turned off by gore and intense violence if it adds to the story or the mood.

Just watched Bloody Oranges, where I watched some scenes with my jaw open.

This was schlocky, and I'm sure we will see a bunch of follow-ups. I felt like I had to see it because it is such a zeitgeist cultural blip.

The acting is god awful, but there's enough hot girl skin to make up for it....slightly.
