does it help the movie industry??
to give the best picture award to a movie no one has seen?
shareit only helps apple , most people probably think they need an apple tv to watch it
shareThat is unimportant. What is is that they gave it to an American remake of a fairly recent French film.
sharePeople have seen the movie though.
shareI don't think people really care.
shareSpeak for your uncultured self.
shareSome of them will see it now simply b/c it won best pic.
shareJust wanted to say , today is 3/28/22, and I just watched the film for the first time. I subscribed yesterday to Apple Plus TV. I don't have any Apple products (TV, phone, IPad, etc). It ended up being a real pain in the butt, and I had to call to support but we got it to work - so it can be done. First thing I watched once we got it going was "CODA". My take is it was pretty good. Certainly worth watching. I don't know if "CODA" helps the movie industry but the fact that it won Best Picture is definitely going to help Apple, big time.
shareCan you get Apple TV on an Android device?
shareI don't want to say for sure cuz I don't know. All I know is, with some difficulty, I got it going for myself. What I wanted to do is watch Apple TV plus movies on my TV - which is nothing more than a Seiki HDTV. It was no problem with my desktop computer - which is a simple Dell. As far as my phone, which is also simple - I used that only to sign up. To get it working on my HDTV, I had to run back and forth between my desktop and my TV - inputting codes. After doing this 5 times I was ready to give up. The sixth time it worked perfectly. I have no idea as to why. I don't know if that helps you, but that is what happened. All's well that ends well in my case.
shareIt helps the movie industry by acknowledging Deaf people, and promoting inclusivity by having Deaf people in movies.
If no-one saw the movie, how did it win 3 oscar awards?
