Lab dance? I don't recall any Labrador dancing.

Also your taste in movies sucks. I bet you think Django Unchained is a masterpiece.

🐺 Boycott movies that involve real animal violence (& their directors) 🐾

Worst Movie Ever?

I am so tired of uninformed losers stating such things on every movie IMDb has listed...

Get out of your parents basement, and go watch many more movies... I suggest you start with "Howard The Duck"! Then come back and tell me this movie is the worst YOU have ever seen...

The car chase scene between the Challenger and the Charger is one of the best car chase sequences ever made. Tarantino set out to make the film he intended, and hit the bullseye.

Maybe Exploitation Films & Car Chase films are not everyones "Cup Of Tea". but... That does not make it the "Worst Film Ever", just because YOU don't like it!

Still trying to figure out why so many people are so "sick in the head", and insist on going to places they don't like and wasting time complaining about the "Worst Movie They Have Ever Seen" instead of going to places they do like, and talking about the "Best Movie They Have Ever Seen"

One of the "Worst Movies I Have Ever Seen" is "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Yes, you heard me right, I hate it. But You won't find me going there and complaining about that. Why because I don't want to think about it, and choose to think about more pleasant movies, and other things...

It's a shame that I can't come to discussions about movies I do like without someone, and there is always someone, ruining it with "Worse Movie Ever" comments... Especially concerning movies that are in no way the "Worse Movie Ever" by most movie going standards...

Well said, McD

Awe, it's so terrible for you that your path through the internet isn't paved with nothing but pleasantries and butterflies.

I'm still trying to figure out why some people think that just because they act one way, everybody else should too.

Perhaps some people watch a movie they seen had a good rating on IMDB, personally find the movie sucks, then check the chat to see what people like about it, and, God forbid they find a comment they want to comment on.

Here's an idea for you, if you don't like reading comments from people who dislike things you like, don't click on those comments and waste your time, from this comments title, you obviously were not going to enjoy reading it.

1. I didn't find the girls annoying, and I found their dialog to be very interesting because the characters told great stories and they were really realistic.
2. Well, the dialog didn't have anything to do with the movie because... THEY DIDN'T EVEN KNOW SOMEONE WAS STALKING THEM BECAUSE THEY WERE FRIENDS JUST HANGING OUT!
3. If you found the movie boring, then you probably just liked Pulp Fiction because everyone tells you to and "OMG ITS HAS A 94% on ROTTEN TOMATOES I MUST LIKE IT!!!!!" If you think about it, Death Proof and Pulp Fiction are 2 very similar movies. They are both driven by dialog, they both have some action scenes, and they both had interesting and likeable characters (in my opinion)
5. The ending was a parody of endings of cheesy 70s movies (movies that one Death Proof was parodying). Did you not notice how there was some audio errors and the film felt like it was filmed in the 1970s?

This film is a masterpiece, and it is my favorite QT movie (and yes I know that PULP FICTION is the better movie between the 2, but I just like DEATH PROOF more)

Your post should be required viewing for all those who are too dumb to understand this film.

Pants up, don't loot.

I couldn't have said it better, Halberstam.

It wasn't even just the film and audio, did you notice the way the girls spoke? It had a 70s vibe to it, maybe it's the accent. One of the best retro movies I've watched. The giallo cues were really cool too. The styling, impressive.

BTW, if you watched Vanishing Point it becomes even more enjoyable.

It was wildly entertaining!!! Oh my... I don't know, maybe it's 'cause I'm a girl. He created a great atmosphere with pretty simple characters in an insane situations. And the dialogs - it's the best part! And I am usually bored by dialogs in action movies. I don't know, it's a pure Tarantino work to me. And I like his style.

The movie has problems, but it's exceptionally well shot and the attack scenes are expertly handled. I just wish some of the motor-mouthing (e.g. Winstead's singing, Kim's endless and repetitious trash-talking near the end, etc.) had been cut out.

That said, anyone who thinks the lap dance is the only good part should avoid real movies and stick solely to porn.

I agree, it really is a terrible film.

With Christmas turkey breeding on a QT scale, it is difficult to choose the most succulent, but DeathProof is up there for one that needs little gravy accompaniment.

This thread complaining about the girls chatting reminds me of the first two times I went to see this movie. I remember going to see this movie (the double feature Grindhouse) when it came out and loving it so much that I told a friend of mine he should see it. I went with him and he whined the entire time the girls were chatting onscreen. He whined so much just during the girls' conversation in the restaurant that I told him to go wait outside until the movie was finished. I just watched the movie again after not having seen it in years and the restaurant conversation really wasn't that long. They talk about Zoe falling off a cliff, Kim having a gun, and then Zoe wanting to test drive the car.

Anyway, 10 years later and I still love this movie. I hate that Tarantino called it his worst movie. I'd give that honor to Jackie Brown, but even then I wouldn't say it was a bad film, just that I like all his other movies more than that one.
