i really shocked when i see that movie, the only good scene was the lab dance(nce choice of song) i'm so dissappointed :P

The film itself was weak and I'd have to agree with Tarantino because it certainly is his worst film.
It was shallow and offered very little to digest. Even the symbolism and implications in the film were far below-average.
I'm watching it at the moment and asking myself...is the acting supposed to be bad because it's a tribute to grind=house cinema? Not being facetious, I'm genuinely curious as to if this is the desired effect Taranteeny was going for.

What's hard to understand about the film? It's not exactly a David Lynch film... it's simply a straight forward, not very good film. The only reason you like it is because Tarantino made it. If it wasn't made by film you wouldn't care for it at all.

It was slow as a wet weekend, lacked any interesting characters, any kind of story, anything even remotely interesting.
People sitting around talking and drinking isn't a film.
Now comes the part where you say 'but it was SUPPOSED to be bad'. Well, it certainly was. It may have been an homage to the old exploitation films of AIP and the like, but many of those film actually had stories that went somewhere. Death Proof just had a whole lotta nothing.

No, it was pretty terrible. Tarantino always has scenes with pointless dialog that has nothing to do with the story but usually it's entertaining, this was just annoying. Or maybe that was the point and we're supposed to root for Stuntman Mike.

I dislike Tarantino in general and loved this film. Rated it a 9.
It felt like a 70s film which is amazing. Even the acting felt like it was from the 70s. There's something magical about this film.
I always thought the first 30 minutes or so were impressive, but it just falls apart after that.
Anyway, while it's not the worst movie ever, it is probably the most obnoxious thanks to those incredibly annoying bitches.
