Zooey Deschanel - I Just Don't Get It

I've tried several of her films now, watching 500 Days of Summer as I write this, but I just don't get her appeal. Yes unquestionably an attractive girl but I find her to be an absolutely dreadful actress, completely incapable of demonstrating any depth or range of emotion.

Is it just me?

I wish I had done a lot of things. I wish I had... I wish I had stayed. I do.

For me, the movie was all about JGL, but yeah, it probably is just you.

No it's not JUST the OP! I also find her pretty dull and lacking in charm. A few of my friends also agree with me on this. She's tried VERY hard to come across a certain way in Hollywood, i.e. quirky, but to me she's pretty plain.
Nonetheless, she looks nice.
