I've tried several of her films now, watching 500 Days of Summer as I write this, but I just don't get her appeal. Yes unquestionably an attractive girl but I find her to be an absolutely dreadful actress, completely incapable of demonstrating any depth or range of emotion.
Is it just me?
I wish I had done a lot of things. I wish I had... I wish I had stayed. I do.
Yeah, you must just not like her. Maybe something she does or the way she looks reminds you of someone/something you're not fond of. Otherwise, I dunno...she seems fine to me.
Appearances can be...deceptive.

shareI don't get it either. She's got the body of boy and is kinda bug-eyed... Yet whenever I see on the screen I always come to the same conclusion - Zooey is THE hottest actress in L.A., period. Can't explain it, but whatever "it" is she's got it!

I find that she's not somebody I have strong opinions on either way. She seemed alright in this. She seems alright in New Girl when I've seen it. Though the show doesn't necessarily appeal to my sense of humour, that's nothing to do with the actress.
If I watched a film she was in, I wouldn't be disappointed that she was in it, but I wouldn't watch a film purely to see her.
I think she's cute, but as far as the film goes, when they talk about how she was popular and guys tripped over themselves for her, I found it hard to believe due to her appearance. She looked like plain Jane in those flashback sequences. Nothing special. It's not like her personality made her likable either.
