Yes, I think it hinted that it smelled like her which was how he figured out they were related. Of course it's essentially her daughter, so it's also suggesting that incest makes the same sense but I'm buying none of it.

Not incest. Having sex with a clone of your wife wouldn't be incest, unless your (his own) DNA were somehow put into it. DREN wasn't any blood relative of his.

I can understand why the scene is rather uncomfortable to some people. It did have some incestuous undertones to it. He raised her like a daughter but they weren't biologically related. She was biologically related to Elsa, not him. Also, she was the one who initiated the encounter first and he was hesitant. When he finally did give in, she didn't seem like she was in distress during the encounter. To me, it looked more like lovemaking than rape. But, I guess it's in a matter of perception.

I also saw more betrayal to Elsa. We learn later that Dren was part of her and so he admired that. I don't know, but the op's original comment made me laugh
