Woke critics are trying to stop this movie at the box office!

Don't listen to them! Go support the almighty Mel!

reply

I love Mel but this does look bad, like not worth seeing at the theater bad. Maybe rental later.

reply

It does not at all look like a Mel Gibson movie. Look at films like Braveheart, The Passion of the Christ, Apocalypto and Hacksaw Ridge . . . all large-scale, ambitious movies about epic subject matter. When I watched the trailer for Flight Risk, I was shocked when I saw Mel's name come up. It looks like a job he took just to get a payday or something. I don't know.

reply

It’s called range. He wants to cover a genre that he hasn’t done before

reply

He is also good friends with Mark and probably wanted to work with him again

reply

Nothing wrong with that, but this just looks so cheap and like something you normally see streaming somewhere. I hope I'm wrong and it is actually a good movie but I have bad feeling about it.

reply

You don't need a big budget to make a good movie

reply

You are right, I should have said that this looks like a B movie.

reply

There have been many good B movies. Some are better than A movies.

reply

True, but to me this does not look that good. Hope I'm wrong though.

reply

Exactly, the thing I've always loved about the movies he's directed was that they were ambitious and epic. This looks like a big step down from the quality he's known for.

reply

There’s a place for both kind of movies - the epics like Braveheart + the 90-min popcorn films like this one. I think it’s fine if he changes things up here and there

reply

I might go tomorrow during my lunch break at work

reply

Fuckin’ A!

reply

Never listen to critics. Always decide for yourself.

reply

Yup.
