Woke critics are trying to stop this movie at the box office!
Don't listen to them! Go support the almighty Mel!

shareI love Mel but this does look bad, like not worth seeing at the theater bad. Maybe rental later.
shareIt does not at all look like a Mel Gibson movie. Look at films like Braveheart, The Passion of the Christ, Apocalypto and Hacksaw Ridge . . . all large-scale, ambitious movies about epic subject matter. When I watched the trailer for Flight Risk, I was shocked when I saw Mel's name come up. It looks like a job he took just to get a payday or something. I don't know.
shareIt’s called range. He wants to cover a genre that he hasn’t done before
shareHe is also good friends with Mark and probably wanted to work with him again
Nothing wrong with that, but this just looks so cheap and like something you normally see streaming somewhere. I hope I'm wrong and it is actually a good movie but I have bad feeling about it.
shareExactly, the thing I've always loved about the movies he's directed was that they were ambitious and epic. This looks like a big step down from the quality he's known for.
shareThere’s a place for both kind of movies - the epics like Braveheart + the 90-min popcorn films like this one. I think it’s fine if he changes things up here and there
shareI might go tomorrow during my lunch break at work
shareFuckin’ A!
