Am I the only person who actually liked this film??

I had multiple LOL moments, especially from Delaney and just random little bits (Justin Long!) from pretty much all of the cast members... the story was interesting, Elizabeth Banks and Seth Rogen had good chemistry, Jason Mewes looked good, etc... long story short, I would definitely watch this again (if only just to hear the "coffee, black" line again ahahaha). What's the big problem with it? I just don't... see why this was so bad? I would so watch this again than watch Juno or Superbad again.

Maybe it's because I never enjoyed the Kevin Smith brand of comedy? (Clerks, Dogma, etc)

I hate most "dumb comedy" movies,but there's is something about Kevin Smith's style of writing that draws me in....I really can't put my finger on what it is. I'm really looking forward to Red State.

No, you're not the only one. I recorded it off of Comedy Central with my Windows Media Center. VERY funny.

UPDATE:[3/16/2015] Since some re-arrangements of my computer, crashing my recorded collection and the service ending but the new acquisition of my Amazon.com account, I simply downloaded from there.

I watched it by putting a DVD in to an LG DVD player attached to a SANYO flatscreen 40". Must have been a bad format 'cause it was friggin' awful.

Its a decent Kevin Smith film, a pretty funny comedy.

Nah, you're not the only person. It's not Smith's best, but it's consistently hilarious, the cast has excellent chemistry and in spite of the subject matter, the story is, for lack of a better term, sweet. I think in time it will earn its audience and people will forget that it was a financial disappointment. What a shame that Kevin himself can't see that and barely acknowledged the film after it tanked. A commentary would have been nice!

Agreed, I really enjoyed this film. Thought it was hilarious.

I liked it. I could've been a little better, but it was good. I loved Elizabeth Banks. I also thought Brandon Routh & Justin Long were hilarious together!

I liked this movie alot and I showed it to a friend and he liked it too. I'm usually not into this type of movie..I hated 'The Forty Year Old Virgin' and 'The Hangover'. This had great charectors, fun dialogue and some great situations. And it had two pon stars in it!
