Has anyone read it? How was it? My library doesn’t have it so I’m thinking of ordering it but wanted to chat with someone who has read it.

Also Wondering how closely the series follows it.

Slightly off-topic (I haven't read it, but want to!) - your library probably offers an InterLibrary Loan service, where they can get the book for you from another library - and it's often free! Ask your local library if that's an option. :)

I'm a third of the way through the novel; the series follows the book rather well so far.

Edited to add; Finished the novel. The series remains close to the book. One difference is Jolene spends lots of time with Beth in an exercise program to get her sober.
