How many Razzies will it win?
Okay peeps, time to place your bets!
Next January, how many Razzie nominations and WINS will the turkey take home?
Personally, I think will break last year's record (held by its predecessor Batfleck v. Psuedoman) for the MOST Razzie winning comic book adaptation OF ALL TIME.
Look at the history of the Snyderverse at the Razzies:
1) Man of Rehash, despite being CERTIFIED ROTTEN on Rotten Tomatoes, failed to not only win a single Razzie, but wasn't even nominated! (at the very least, it should have been a shoo-in to win WORST SCREENPLAY for David Goyer and WORST ON-SCREEN DUO for Pa Kent & the Tornado).
2) Batfleck v. Psuedoman quickly made up for Man of Rehash's snub by being the MOST Razzie nominated superhero film of ALL TIME, shattering the record books compared to previous turds like Catwoman and Batman & Robin. It was nominated for no few than EIGHT Razzie awards, and half a dozen people took home Razzies for that movie:
WINNER-Worst Supporting Actor: Jesse Eisenberg for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice as Lex Luthor
WINNER-Worst Screen Combo: Ben Affleck in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
WINNER-Worst Screen Combo: Henry Cavill in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
WINNER-Worst Screenplay: Chris Terrio for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
WINNER-Worst Screenplay: David S. Goyer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
WINNER-Worst Prequel, Remake, Rip-off or Sequel: Warner Bros., Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice
It would have won even MORE Razzies, but the committee was blinded by politics and gave a slew of awards to Hillary's America because they didn't like the subject matter, even though if you look at the movie objectively, its not that "bad" at all, just divisive.
3) Just-Us Fatigue should EASILY make the history books for MOST nominations AND MOST WINS for ANY superhero movie in history. I'm thinking at least a DOZEN nominations and possibly 10 "wins".
What do you think? We'll revisit this thread in January and see who's prediction was best!
