These people are scientists and should know the impact of non-reusable plastic on pollution, but they sit around fiddling with their plastic forks. At least make some effort at making responsible choices when it comes to the environment.
Doesn't have to be a dramatic, Woke moment but just, like with smoking cigarettes, manage it in a way that models good stewardship.
Whenever I see a baby seal, I throw it a plastic straw to play with. Pandas get a plastic fork to eat with.
shareThe worst part is there is biodegradable plastic technology available but no plastic producing company will switch to it because of extra costs to reorganize production unless the government makes laws where plastic production has to meet standards of biodegradability and there are taxes to non biodegradable plastic.
