Director David Bruckner tells EW, “This is not a remake. I just didn’t think you could ever remake the original Hellraiser. It’s too much its own thing and it would be, I think, perilous territory for filmmakers, because how do you top that?”

“This is a new story in the Hellraiser universe,” Bruckner adds.

I really don't like the locket/box in his neck. It's a bad idea, I cannot put it into words but I know the puzzle box in the neck is dumb. I didn't think that was a new cenobite in the other picture, it looked like a human anatomy dummy.

Compared to Revelations which had pinheads eyes white and showing too much expression the eyes here are correct for a cenobite but below the chin is silly.
