Was the naked lesbian scene needed?

Why does everyone think that in order to make a good horror movie, there must be nudity? I'm a guy and still found that scene tasteless and not needed. Nudity does not make a crappy movie good by any means.

I'm a fag
I liked the lesbian scene
Not that it turns me on but it was a nice touch to the movie

I totally agree. I've yet to see a nude or sex scene in a horror movie that was necessary. All it does is take up pages in a script. Pages that could be used for much more important things. Like making a decent movie.

Wow, I can't believe this forum is still going. And 8 pages of comments?!? Didn't know this subject was this popular. haha.

Here's a litle tip for those watching the film on Blu-ray, the disc has a feature where you can choose different outcomes for the characters, just enable that feature and when the lesbian sex scene comes up it will ask you if you think the girl should resist the other two girls, just click 'no' and the scene goes on longer. :-)

If you expect the unexpected doesn't the unexpected then become the expected?

It's been two years since I've came to this board. I still think the lesbian stuff was awesome and needed!

reply

Oh yeah, I'm a lesbian and I say the scene was beautiful, up until the part where the girls were all gross and schitt.

no it wasn't NEEDED, and i found it to be a little too short, that lesbian threesome should have gone all they way, but i was still nice.

It's amazing that people complain about showing a little skin, but have nothing to say about the amount of gore and violence that they enjoy for entertainment. After all, sex and nudity are natural - we all have sex and we are born nude. Yet, it amazes me when people get offeneded when it is shown in a movie or on television but are silent when it comes to gratuitous gore and violence. It is disturbing and hypocritical when we value violence over sex.

So, you're a fag if you think lesbian sex isn't needed in a movie?? Maybe he's just a mature guy. The immature guys are the ones who're all up in arms over lesbian sex: if they're LESBIAN, you don't stand a chance, understand?? Also, it is VERY immature to use "fag". Damn, some straight guys are too stupid for this world...!!

PS: No, haven't seen this movie and never will. The first sucked as hell.

You are clearly a fag if you don't enjoy some hot lesbian scenes or complain about nudity.

"Was the naked lesbian scene needed?"

Yes.

I have found that nothing zips up a film like a good ole lesbian love scene... and no, all your complaining won't lead to equal time for future gay scenes.

If you look at it a different way though. The ghosts are known to A) show the person next to them what happened in the last few minutes of their life and b) whow what the Doctor was doing/trying to "cure"

And in those days trying to cure homosexuality by ECTs was "a good thing" so I personally think more then anything the film was trying to be "historically accurate" in one aspect.

I put historically accurate in quotations purely because this film is crap, and if it was going to be "historically accurate" with an effort then it would be better, which it is not.

But thats just an opinion coming from someone who is fascinated by medical crimes or medical murderers. And I have to admit. They would make a pretty good film if a better writer/director had good material.

But especially when it comes to slasher movies, this film has nothing on films like Friday 13 etc in terms of nudity. Again, just my opinion.

I've got a very broad mind but found this scene a little boring. But this discussion did remind me of a comment made at work this morning that cracked me up. I was telling a couple of guys at work about treating myself to "Bad Girls the Musical" and they were asking what the plot was and what characters, I started telling them about how there was a lesbian in it who'd killed a guy and that I felt she had a right to do what she did (defending her girlfriend from a rapist.)
Ian, one of the guys, just shouted:
"Who cares if she was wrong or right? There's lesbians in it, I'm renting it!"

reply

naked lesbian scenes are ALWAYS needed.
