In real life especially in the 1800s it didnt matter how old the girl was. Priest the movie has a bit of a western theme to it so it was a common and normal thing back then in the 1800s for everyone to be courtin/dating a younger girl.
Even in the 1600s and 1700s
this is something I don't understand.
Let's say there is a girl, she is 18-19, this girl smokes. this girl has a job, this girl is promiscuous and has had different boyfriends. she sleeps around. She has been sleeping around for years now. so is not even new to her.
So, she is supposed to only date 18-19 year old guys? Lets say she has sex with 15 guys that are 18 years old.
Now, we have a guy that is 29 or lets say 32. they start a relationship,
And because he is older he is sick and demented and is corrupting her?
I am not defending the fact that older guys date young women. I am not even trying to say it is okay.
It just makes me wonder. What makes an older guy such a monster? what makes the girl being young innocent?
I am just curious.
Curious because everyone always freaks out about age, But no one ever pays attention to the guy's lifestyle OR the Girl's lifestyle.
