You guys are crying over a stupid dog?

I feel very sorry for you sir, animals are pure innocent creatures, if you raise, feed, and take care of one for over ten years, of course it will hurt you when it dies, sure there are heartless people who treat animals like garbage, they use them as pets as long they are cute and trow them out at the first sign of illnes or old-age, and whats worst they instill that kind of behaviour on theyr children making terrible and irreparable harm to them, you i believe are one of such persons.

Dogs especially can be an invaluable aid to teach your kids the concepts of responsability and taking care of others, and in the end the absolute meaning of life and death, and more importantly the value of life, and in the way making them better persons and building rock solid character (that is if you dont shield them from the nasty parts at the end, it may look like bad parenting to put a child trough that kind of trauma but it will pay in the long run)

and dont go blurting out thigs like "lousy dog" there are a lot of people who love theyr pets just as much as they do actual people, and yes it hurts them all the same, there is no shame in crying for the lost of a love one wheter is a relative, a cat, a dog, or even a fish.

Why shouldn't people cry? A pet is not going to rip you off of money, or gossip about you, or break your heart, or cheat on you, or anything that only human beings do.

A dog or a cat doesn't do any of the horrible stuff we human beings have done.

The United States of America was built on injustice. We stole this land, and kidnapped people and enslaved them, among other things humans have done to other humans and animals. Did you know only human beings get pleasure out of torturing and/or killing another living thing?

I am not saying all people are like that, but animals and children are innocent, and have a sweetness about them, and it breaks my heart whenever the cruel things of this world and life and nature effect them.

I'm not going to say animals reign above human beings, but pets are a huge part of one's family. People dissapoint all the time, they can be mean, heartless, cruel....after a bad day you can come home and a pet is always happy to see you. Pets can be abused and never given any love at all, and most will still wage their tail, happy to see someone who might give them some love. A dog's love is unconditional and I find it very sad that you can't see that. And no, you don't have to be a dog or animal lover to appreciate others' love for them.

People like you make me sick, OP. I hope you've never had a dog - you don't DESERVE the privilege of owning one! The privilege of being loved unconditionally just because you exist! Show me one human that will always love you just the same even if you treat them badly - SHOW ME and then speak!

I've had dogs my entire life. My two darling dogs are like family to me. Every single time I had lost a dog, it was heartbreaking. When these two leave me, I will be shattered, too. You either have no heart or you're a troll, either way, I hope you never get the chance of having a dog.

Shame on *beep* YOU for thinking that a man's life is worth more than a dog's life. I dog will love you with all his/her heart, unconditionally. I've never come across a human in my life with that quality. Dogs are what humans wish they could be. But we never will. With all our wisdom and intelligence and nuclear power, we still fall awfully short of the one character that is supposed to make us "human". *beep* irony much? Assshole.
