Something that really bothered me...

The movie was pretty interesting, telling us a story in a different way (as a documentary) with some pretty good twists, but there was something that really bothered me.
Everytime the family stated to see a video to find something weird they could see the most tiny detail of everything (even though the quality of the video was poor).
When they discover the neighbor in Alice's room... I mean come on! You can barely see a face there!
And than they saw the cellphone video (with the crappiest quality ever) and they discover ALICE BURYING something!

I agree. The videos were of poor quality, which is fine but when you closeup on an image (which this film did to death) it became clearer, which is impossible. We saw more details on a "hidden" face while cropping into it. Technically, the opposite happens.

We've met before, haven't we?

Plus. they totally ignore the fact that these are time-lapse cameras. Things should look like they're moving in super-fast motion, yet everything they see seems like a still. Matthew says he was playing TV footage of Alice, yet it's more like he left it on pause. Fine. But was the neighbor really sitting in that one spot, motionless, for minutes on end?
