this show is officially shit

ep 3 is fucking [deleted by moderator] city. who thought it was a good idea to cast a black woman with a man's haircut as the lead? sorry, i don't care about these people. then she is also the partner of a white man who is like a 9/10? lol wut? i don't give a shit about white guys but i do want the female lead to be somewhat attractive. this is like the black people's version the fat white guy with a hot wife trope. this is too much. this show is ruined. i'm sorry it's fucking ruined. i skipped around too much to know. is that black woman's character suppose to be a male homosexual? that's the only thing that could make sense here.

Would your rating be more favorable if the lead was an ugly white female? I'm guessing it would. People like you might consider not watching anything new / contemporary because as much as you hate it, the world is changing and your petty objection means shit.

this is like an imaginary argument you have in the shower. i say something so easy for you to defeat and you get to feel good. lol. come on. first of all, there's a big difference between an ugly woman and a woman that looks like a man. huge huge difference. second, no i wouldn't like it better if it was an ugly white woman. i am hugely annoyed by the new trend of fat as fuck women in streaming shows. giant trunk bodied women have no place in these shows, example being the girl from wanda vision. also fat ass female cop from loki. a female action hero doesnt need to be hot but god damn please don't make me want to throw up. this is a movie/tv show for entertainment after all.

And with each episode it becomes worse ...

Well, I guess I disagree with 99% of that, but that's cool. Be pretty boring if everyone felt the same about everything... but with that said, her hairstyle is terrible, like Brussel sprouts on ice cream terrible... of all the Sci-Fi I've watched over decades, I've never ever stopped to think - hey, that's the most f*kd-up hairdo ever. And that's saying ALOT after watching the original Dune.... its sad. When's she's on scene, it's all I see.. like a huge mole on someone's face, or like Angelina Jolie's rack... it becomes a distraction and all you see in the scene, shame really...
(And just for those who pick anything apart - no, AJ's rack is not terrible, just an example of a distraction)
Wonder why everyone was too scared to tell the hairstylist what's up??? Really hope Leah Harvey came up with that on her own...
Oh well, what's next...

i just googled it, it's called a flat top. it's a popular male hair cut in the 80s for black men. for some reason they cast this woman who has that haircut for a female role in 2021. i don't know wtf they were thinking. this woman also looks like a teenager and she's suppose to lead everyone? her physicality is also that of a weak woman. i don't mean her stature, i mean how she moves around on screen. if they want a female leader, she needs to look stronger than that. i liked that indian warrior woman, she makes total sense for that character. salvo's actress makes no sense.
