Right now, only extreme traditionalist right and identitarian woke left expect you to fit exactly in a gender or identity group template. You not fitting exactly in your gender or identity group means... just that. It DOESN'T MEAN that you must fit in another gender/identity group template. You are a biological woman and you don't fit exactly in a female role? Well, then you must fit in the male role!! Or in a linear combination between male role and female role!! Conservatives feel like slavery has been talked about, and talked about some more, and then talked about a whole bunch more, and then after we talked about it we talked about it again and then talked about talking about it.

Today it's mostly used as a tool for people who never even came close to experiencing slavery to try to achieve their political and social goals.

At this point we'd like to see some positivity about America's past and some focus on the good things, not constant negativity and focus on the bad. Instead of always saying how terribly America is, maybe we should take some time to talk its triumphs and how awesome it is.

You are teh one that brought up slavery. And the other poster is right, conservatives have no problem understanding that "Americans held slaves and it was wrong".

And since the early 60s, BOTH parties have supported a bi-partisan consensus for racial equality for blacks and supported and STILL support discriminating IN FAVOR of blacks to "make up for past injustices". So, your claim otherwise is bullshit.
