far from brilliant but I loved it all the same, the way to see this movie is NOW after all the hipsters know it's a "POS" and you'll be the only one in the theater, so you don't have to worry about people knowing what you laugh at :P

I haven't seen the latest installment, but there are some parts of the 4 that I liked and some, not so much. That's just how it is with the Scary Movie franchise. I'm a fan of Leslie Nielsen(R.I.P) and to some degree Charlie Sheen, so I enjoyed 3 & 4 more than the first two to be honest. Also, Anna Faris has always added some degree of humor to the series as the dimwitted hot blond girl. I'll watch Scary Movie 5 when it is released on DVD, like 4 movies before it when I feel like it.
I'm sorry, but if you expect some kind of genius plot out of these movies then you're either stupid or you take yourself way too seriously. These movies have never been made with the intention of winning some kind of prize for the brilliance of the script or production. Just relax and watch it without critique in mind and don't expect too much of it because if you do you'll be disappointed.
It is what it is, spoofs and jokes made at expense of other movies taking their production way too seriously, nothing more and nothing less.

I cannot stop laughing when i watch tis movie. People don't know comedy anymore. This is a funny movie similar to Airplane .

I would like to believe I am grown up now and do not appreciate sophomoric, lewd humor anymore but I don't think I would have enjoyed it 10-20 years ago either. I grew up on the Scary Movie franchise and generally a fan of the Wayans brothers, but this movie was just awful. Not only was Ashley Tisdale was terrible, it made me miss Anna Farris! Many of the jokes were tired and forced. I can't believe I am saying this, but A Haunted House made me laugh more.
