Saving during a bridge accident causes Pa Kent to reveal Clark alien origins, teen Clark has flared hair, Clark bullied at school(something I hate watching in movies and TV is kids being bullied), doesn't fly until he gets the suit, his suit at the Fortress rises up from the ground or wall and is in a casket, Lois visits Smallville and knows his secret before he's Superman even has her visiting the Kent farm with Ma Kent at the door, has Zod's minions wreak havoc in Smallville, becomes Superman during an apocalypse.

Reminds me of how subsequent Terminator films took really good and/or fun ideas from the sarah connor chronicles.

Both have a key to activate Kal-El's and other kryptonian devices.

Have rogue kryptonians coming to Earth looking for Kal-El.

Having Lois know his secret before he's Superman was one of the biggest changes to the mythos.

I concur and believe that it was a big mistake.

Lois should have started gathering clues but not figured it out until "PART II", where Clark and Lois's relationship is solidified. Then a "PART III", and after that: 'Death of Superman'("PART IV").

Or at least not find out his identity so early in the film, could've done it in the middle or late in the film.

I don't see a version now where you can have Lois obsess over Superman and not give a damn about Clark or have them as rivals or have her not know his identity at all.

If you look at the My Adventures With Superman anime they also had Lois find out sooner as episode three.

She was an ace reporter. It wasn't that hard to figure out.
Perry White was on Clark's trail in Smallville, but fortunately it happened during an episode where Clark temporarily lost his powers.

MOS Lois had the potential to a good adaptation of her, having her not figuring it out makes her look like the stupidest woman in the world.

Imagine her to town like Gale Weathers, instead of looking for Ghostface she's looking for Superman, comes in a news van with Jimmy as her cameraman.
