I want to find more movies like this!

Can anybody help me out?

Along these criteria:

-A-List
-Caribbean.
-1980 to now.
-Adventure.
-Water.
-Islands.
-Modern.

(Would be nice but not necessarily:)
-Action.
-Romance.
-Treasure.

I've already seen Into The Blue, Sahara & The Deep. Plus although I like the "Pirates" franchise, these aren't modern set stories, so don't bother.

I'm looking for some great tips concerning movies along the line of Fool's Gold, Into The Blue & Sahara. They must be quality films.

Though I have some real knowledge of film, there seem to be (or I simply don't know of) other great tropical, treasure films set in modern times...

If there are any, please let me know???????????

National treasure duology is great!!!

Speed 2: Cruise Control is good and is set in LA and the Caribbean (mostly Caribbean) and has romance and action just no treasure but i really liked it and if you liked Speed you should like it :)

Two of my favorites of this sort of film are Six Days Seven Nights and Romancing The Stone. Both are modern-day adventure/romance films set in tropical/exotic places. In my opinion these are quality films, not stupid. They can be a tad tongue-in-cheek silly at times, but that is the point, similarly to what was done in Fool's Gold.

Maybe not water, island and the Caribbean but A-list for sure and about fortunes.

King of California

But I feel they need to make more movies like Fool's Gold!

Into the Blue (2005) with Paul Walker and Jessica Alba, is very similar to Fool's Gold .. outstanding underwater scenes .. filmed in the Bahamas .. a gorgeous couple .. with something else in the place of treasure, which i won't mention here..
