No, that would be The Fly. I was completely blown away by it, sat in the theater and saw a second time right away.

I'd say it is.

I'm not a huge Cronenberg fan but he has made a few movies that I think are great.

Nah, not even close. The Dead Zone, The Fly and Dead Ringers rule.
