Sorry if this has been started before, but I thought it would be fun to see who everyone liked better for kyle or just altogether. I'll start, I pick team Amanda.

I think there was more of a development of the relationship between Kyle and Amanda. The two of them are just... something. Just seeing Kyle's face when he sees Amanda and her face when she speaks to him.
With Jessi and Kyle, there is that same origin connection, but it's not the same. I guess it depends on what kind of relationship you'd like Kyle to have.
Either way, I think any relationship Kyle has won't really work out, since he is Kyle and he's destined for greater things. Haha.

I agree. It was love @ 1st sight & neither has given a reason to say it isn't so. In the last episode, Amanda also showed that she was not just a pretty face. Jessi needs someone, but is more like a sister to Kyle.

I have to get involved here... Definitely Jessi.
Amanda is nothing more than puppy dog love, an early fascination much like Jessi and Declan. He's convinced himself he loves her, for no reason. Amanda has no personality, no excitement, and her damsel in distress act is tiresome.
If there was another season, her death would be ideal in having Kyle grow up. Jessi has shown control and learns to love, Amanda is just a distraction.

Amanda is too "goody two shoes". Everything in their relationship is either fairytale magical or she's pedantically scolding him for screwing up. She's too self-righteous. It's annoying.
