Butchered source material, female SEAL (lol), bland and uninspiring cinematography, poor attention to detail. It's nothing we haven't seen a hundred times before.
And I really don't get the love for Michael B. Jordan. He was so wooden and emotionless.

shareI liked it. Not a classic but worth a watch. Mikey Jordan does what he can but he’s character is fairly one dimensional. We’ve seen it all before with Arnold, Stallone etc... but still some good action scenes that kept me interested.
Good acting from the lady Seal and the corrupt CIA agent. I liked the camaraderie from the other military people too.
Story not great though but a decent watch. 6/10

shareI thought that was her! Yeah, in this, she is ridiculous, but at least in the Last Ship, if I remember correctly, they had a more believable back story for her than a SEAL Lt. Cmdr. and she played the Last Ship role fine and believable for the most part (if memory serves). This part made no sense.

A dude was about to take a drink from it - isn't that stagnant water? Is it a pool coming from a pipe? Did they swim through a freakin' pipe?
Two seconds later there was a hardass female in charge of the SEAL team. As far as I know, there isn't a whole lot of female SEALS. I noped out because it could only get worse...
Look, I can take some liberties with realism in my action movies, but this had Tom Clancy stamped on it. I was expecting a little more (though after Amazon butchered Jack Ryan I shouldn't have been surprised).

The really sad thing is, the novel of this is million times better in everyway. They should have just done a proper adaption of that rather than this monstrosity.
