Knowing I have seen the most grusome movie ever...

I hated watching this movie but I have to admit it feels good knowing that I have seen the worst of the worst and that no other movie will really bother me as much as this one has (at least for now...)

I definitely don't think it was the worst of the worst. Worst maybe in that the plot and acting sucked, but the blood guts & gore didn't even make me grimace. I thought the part where she gave *that* to the dogs was laughable, over-the-top and silly. Same with the ending.

I don't know - I'm not a fan of blood just for the sake of it. Movies like Mystic River get into my head way more than this kind of stuff.

I think this line's mostly filler

This is kiddy stuff as far as sick cinema goes dude.

A serbian film is probably the most over-the-top gory and horrific themes. Moreso than Salo or Nekromantik. I've seen thousands of films and A serbian film takes the cake, anyone saying otherwise is lying or trying to impress by saying "oh please 'x' is faaaarrr worse. It's not even that disturbing, but for pure insane and twisted gore/horror it is easily the worst fiction film.

You obviously haven't seen "Martyrs"... its way worse and way more brutal. Even "Haute Tension" beats this in the most gruesome department.

Yea it's Martyrs. Not the bloodiest, most gory or scary movie I've seen, but definitely the most gruesome. Also, Megan is Missing(2011) which was kind of a lame movie, had a downright brutal ending.

Hostel II does not even approach the "most gruesome movie ever," my friend. For better or for worse, many films outshine it in the grisly department. Flicks like Inside, Irreversible, Martyrs, and even Contracted are infinitely more graphic and intense than Hostel II. That last scene where Beth rips the guys dick and balls right off is pretty awful, but imagine experiencing that level of brutality every few minutes? It's been done and if you look, you shall find. Not that I necessarily advise that.

The superior horror films have always been those capable of creating effective suspense and atmosphere to provoke scares rather than simply shock with an aggregation of nasty images. It's the scares - not jump scares, but heart-pounding, skin-crawling, nightmare-inducing scares - that separate the average horror flicks from the classics. Watch some dreck like Eden Lake and then watch the great film Them (Ils) and tell me which one made you check your house for intruders and which one didn't.

When I first saw this movie upon its release, I also thought it was the most gruesome and brutal thing I'd ever seen. But I've seen much more brutal since, in particular movies like "Martyrs", "Inside", and "A Serbian Film". This one actually seems kind of tame now.
