This was a good movie until the hero found the heroine alive. Nobody else survived an attack, why did she? I still give it a fair rating.
shareI agree. I had a lot of respect for them killing off the main female character not even close to the end, but that was far fetched when they found her alive. I was happy that she was alive, but knew it was stupid at the same time.
shareI agree. I was somewhat hoping that the American would die as well to make it slightly more realistic. It was an enjoyable movie overall, not too ridiculous like most monster movies.

I think in reference to the dog dying it was a neat little surprise they threw in to give you one last punch of unpredictability. A nice umph. Since the dog wasn't used as bait everyone thinks the dog will live, then out of nowhere it dies. Impressive and nasty twist!
