Perhaps the best movie of all time.

Just phenomenal! Absolutely wondrous and mesmerizing, so alive.

I know the pure literary types seem to hate Malick, but there is more to the world than novels and this guy is an incredible story teller in film and he is one who realizes that film is different format than a book. It probably helps if you are one who is full of awe and wonder and not the sort who drives past a glorious sunset or maple tree in the fall in a state of complete obliviousness. A quick visual flash can transmit the emotions, thought, ideas of 10,000 words and some seem to entirely miss this when it comes to most of his films.

The New World was fantastic too in the same way.

This movie just healed a 10 year grudge I've been holding against my father. I am just blown away. The parallels to his own life are stunning and it put me right in his shoes. Suddenly everything became so clear and I understand why. It's a huge weight just lifted off my heart. He was my hero growing up and even into early adulthood. It has been hell to lose that connection with him. I can love my dad again without holding back.

I am so grateful for this film and so happy I found it.

Good for you, man. Others have expressed similarly; that Malick's have healed emotional pain, helped them to find peace and their faith.
