Well the knee-jerk reaction to this would be, of course, "No" but damn it, why did they have to put her in that outfit with the miniskirt and those high black boots that we'd call sexy on anyone over the age of consent in your jurisdiction... showing a lot of leg, doll-like pale skin and a lot of doe-eyed shots.

I think when you put an actress in that kind of outfit you mustbe trying to make her hot.

Gross? Eh, I blame the creators of the film.

Historically speaking, it's very difficult to transition from child actor to teen actor. Seems the same problems will haunt Dakota. She was truly an amazingly dramatic child actor. None of her recent films have been any good, nor was her acting. I really hope that her great early talent gets "found" again by a great script and a great director.

yes i know that hard for them becoz they always remember as a little girl but i know dakota will pull that off..
there is a new movie for dakota "now is good" thats her latest film and i know shes brilliant in there so the critics says..
some says that it not hard for her to trasition on a lead role...no sweat.:-)

I never found Dakota Fanning hot in any of her other movies... but just seeing Push today; I actually found her attractive... much more so than Camilla Belle who is closer to my age. Maybe it was the combination of her makeup outfit hair and acting.

Not that I don't find the little skank very unattractive in Push,
I don't find her at all attractive in any of her movies. Period.
Every movie I saw with her she is being so annoying, makes me want to slap her.

was it supposed to be sexy? because seeing a child dress like that throughout the whole movie was sad, not sexy, at least for me that is. i don't understand why they dressed her like that.

Really? You dont understand why she was dressed like that? Because i thought it was pretty obvious. She was a teeage girl with no parents taking care or controlling her. She's in the age girls are when they start wanting to appear sexy, using makeup and clothes for that purpose.

Well, age ain't nothin' but a number to me ... like the great late Aaliyah said. I am not so judgemental that I base a person's hotness by her mere age that she can't control and has absolutely NOTHING to do with how she looks or carry herself. However, I did not find Dakota Fanning hot in this movie. I did like the movie overall though.

No. If you put a good-looking boy in a thong I wouldn't find him hot either.

I can recognize beauty in babies, children, young adults, and old people but finding them hot is different. But that's me.

Oh so your logic works, a few female teachers have relations with teenage or preteen boys equals to all females being pedophiles. Don't project your fantasies unto others.

And yes here in the Philippines, it's normal to see some kids in thongs or briefs, no one gives them a second glance. But I'm sure you'd be lusting after them.

Try to educate yourself on the basic facts of an issue before you start rambling about it. Paedophilia means primary or exclusive attraction to pre-pubescent children. You are talking about hebephilia or more commonly ephebophilia, in the context of news headline teacher/pupil scandals.
