I was really looking forward to this Grindhouse film; both shown together with the fake trailers in between. We were told in this country (UK) that it'd be something not seen before over here, interviews and magazine articles talking about the double feature. I couldn't wait to go and see it.

And then what happens?!?

It gets released in USA first and people start walking out after the first film, UNAWARE there was a second film! What did you guys expect? Did anyone look at the posters?

So it gets marketed as two seperate films, just so it doesn't happen again.

Thanks to you idiots, we guys over here got two seperate films instead of the one Grindhouse we'd all been waiting over a year for.

So thank you America. For ruining a unique cinema experience for everyone else, just because you're too stupid to read the posters!

I don't think it's their fault. Americans are notorious for not picking up on subtleties and having to be banged on the head with something to notice it as the flip side to being a culture that is incredibly straight-forward and lacking the social graces of places like the UK, as well as other European and Asian countries. I for one find it incredibly refreshing that there is no beating around the bush with them; you know where they stand on an issue, and think it is a vital part of the American character that makes them so innovative and vibrant. At the same time it makes the use of subtlety in popular art a little mismatched for American consumption.

It's really unnecessary to insult a whole country of people who don't know their intelligence level of because they didn't appreciate a unique film dude,

Yes....completely uncalled for, and of-base as well. If anything, the reason it was not distributed this way was because the movie failed so miserably at the box office in the USA.

 The bad news is you have houseguests. There is no good news. 
