He'll still get the high-profile roles he's capable of occasionally so long as he continues to be a good guy; only if he starts to become a jerk and develop an attitude will he burn his bridges. Look at Mickey Rourke; he didn't begin to get the opportunities again until he showed contrition for his past ego...
