It was funny at first but then it started to become a bit too much. Now I just find it way more insulting than funny.

Believe it or not, in the eighties there were PLENTY of teachers like Ms. Morello. I had some of them and they were far worse they what you see on this show. If anything, this show is a mild version of a racially insensitive teacher.
Ms. Morello just drive me crazy when she makes those racist remarks. I know its just suppose be humor but as a black person watching this show I just want to reach my hand through the TV and choke her. I will admit I did laugh at them for a while but like most of you guys after awhile it was annoying.
@ Worc508 I'm not sure if my teachers was like that in the 80's. At the time I was in Denver, Colorado but then again I was Kindergarten around 1987-88.

i actually found her ignorant comments to be hilarious most of the time, i understand what u mean (OP) but i just always laughed it off
