6.7 My Ass
This was IMO the second best X_Men film. Thats a load of garbage!

6.7 is an extremely generous rating. This is only beaten by X-3 as the worst X-Men movie.
shareI don't get most of the complaints about this film, comic fans complained about the comic origin because of Roman, and rewriting so many parts we thought we knew about the character. Would you have preferred it if we met Dog, Rose and the grandfather, or would that have made the plot too convoluted? Should they show Logan at the mill as a kid before the government programs? Would you want to leave out the parts that created the wolverine - saber tooth rivalry?
If its just the chronological changes done to introduce characters we haven't seen that may be more entertaining for movie purposes? Deadpool was there but he shouldn't have appeared, no mention of alpha flight either, but none if that bothered me because this always happens in book adaptations.
It was the second worst.

shareGlad to see others on here liking this. In my view, none of the films have been very faithful to the comics and while it may be the best made on a technical level X2 did not delve into Wolverine's origin to my liking or have an ending that made any sense (seriously, why did Jean die that way?). Nightcrawler, while looking awesome, was humorless and superficial. Origins while not faithful, was entertaining and did have character. It's the only one I enjoyed completely.
shareI gave it a 10/10 rating, and I thought it was a great movie. I haven't seen any of the other X-Men yet, but if everyone says they are much better than this one, I think I will be in for a pleasant surprise.
