6.7 My Ass
This was IMO the second best X_Men film. Thats a load of garbage!
share4.7 overall
shareAgreed. 6.7 is too high. The story was a mess.
The scene with Wraith, Sabre, Logan and Gambit was ridiculous.
The logic behind that bullet was just plain idiotic.
Fan of the comics? I'll bet you're even more pissed off than I am. This movie ignored the other movies, cartoons, comics...name it.
Worst CGI claws ever.
This movie was a bigger let down than X-Men: The Last Stand.
Sig: "U" "PPL" "WAT" etc. are not words. Grow up. "then" is a reference to time not a comparison.
agreed!!!!!!!
shareYeah pretty much
shareAmen, brother.
A lot of people who hate this movie, haven't read the comics.
... Most of the people who hate this movie are the ones who've read the comics.
•"It always comes and finds you
It will always hear you cry"•
True fans know..KNOW, that they screwed deadpool up. He ruined the movie for me. And then all the cameos. Not needed.
shareAmen, thankfully they're rectifying that by giving him his own Solo movie
shareThey didn't screw Deadpool up because Deadpool wasn't in this movie this was the character on the way to becoming Deadpool.
Victory is Mine!!!
I have been reading "the comics" since 1972 and I thought this movie was fine. not amazing but not nearly as horrible as some people contend.
shareYeah, I agree. It is always difficult to go back and do a prequel. They always seem to get something messed up, but c'est la vie.
Also, I'm not usually a big fan of shoving a bunch of characters together for 5 seconds of screen-time just to say they are in the film, but I think they had to with this one. He's been around so long that he's interacted with so many different people over the years.
And, Stryker's work on mutants would put even more together.
I'm a huge fan of the comics and that's the biggest reason why I dislike this movie. The characters origins is one of the richest and most fascinating that comics has to offer and they did a terrible job adapting it. It comes down to personal tastes but I am a big fan and was incredibly let down.
Even as a movie fan it was just terribly executed, right down to the cartoony cheap effects. In the commentary the director talks a good game about showing the conflict of man vs. animal inside Wolverine but he never showed that to me in the movie. It was incredibly bloated and one dimensional. Even the producers themselves have said that they are continuing the series with out sticking to any continuity to the Wolverine Origin movie. They know that they let the fans down. Maybe not every fan but apparently the majority.
Don't ever play this card again, because clearly you have no idea what you're talking about.
I won't pretend that I'm a big X-Men or Wolverine fan (love the lore, yet really never read any of the comics except for the Dark Phoenix Saga) but I know how bad they screwed up EVERYONE.
I'm normally okay with difference in timelines between movie continuity and comic continuity, but having Logan and Victor be brothers? Why? That doesn't even makes sense with the established movie continuity, and it's straight up blasphemy when compared to the comics continuity.
With that they also screwed up everyone's characteristics, and that's simply not acceptable.
People have different opinions about this and every movie. Don't be so arrogant as to tell someone else that they don't know what they're talking about just because they disagree with you. And that's not a "card'" it's an opinion. Movies are adapted from books and now comic books all the time and always come down to two types of audience members: those who read the original material and those who didn't. Of course, the former are bound to be put off by changes made for the adaptation. Even in this case where many or even most fans were let down, that still doesn't diminish the validity of an individual's opinion. I liked it too, and I don't give a damn about all the people who didn't.
Get over yourself and don't be such a little punk. This is the place for people to share their opinions. It would have been find had you simply stated a disagreement, but a personal attack (which is what you did) is another matter. People like you who can't allow for any ideas dissimilar from their own are pathetic, mannerless babies. Go back to Pre-K, sweetheart.
I tried to quote your post but all that kept coming up was "WWWWWAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"
Sig: "U" "PPL" "WAT" etc. are not words. Grow up. "then" is a reference to time not a comparison.
This is such a laughable comment. I don't care that I'm 9 months late responding to it.
shareI did like it a lot not like 9 or 10 like but like 7.5-8.0 like
shareI think it's the opposite anyone who has read the comics can see how much of a pu**y wolverine is in this giant pile of sh!t, I give it a 1/10 everything about is horrible, his claws literally look like cartoons, the stroy doesn't make any sense and the action is boring as hell.
shareTotally, it's much better than that garbage teen-Xmen thing, first class, more like HALF-ASSED, and the Last Stand (since we've got a thing going here, may aswell give it an insulting punful name, nothing springs to mind but it is indeed the one that kiled the series, how can they make a fourth one after that ? :!: )
I'm also pissed off that the piece of pretentious trash Prometheus has a higher rating than this great comic book film. You do realise that film opens more questions than it answers, and to quote Alien Writer Dan O'bannon "Now they're going to answer the questions in the sequel to the prequel." what garbage.
This is probably the only X-Men movie I thoroughly enjoyed The other ones were watchable enough once, but I always cringe at parts when I see them again. X-Men origins: Wolerine, however, I'm always pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoy it.
Now if only Ryan Reynolds would finally get that Deadpool movie to fix the ending.
"Last rat standing."
Glad you liked it, the film is a great one and there is a scene after the credits you should watch.
shareAre you all delusional? This movie was dreadful!
Not sure if you heard, but my spinal column was ruptured in a sex riot.
They're not delusional. They're just 13.
sharei think comics and superhero movies are pretty much for the kids as you grow older it is not that fascinating + you have seen a lot of similar movies with better effects so you are disappointed however i am 17 and i enjoyed that movie probably cuz i have never read comics
