I Hate, Hate, Hated This Movie.

This movie has some of the worst and laziest One Liners of All Time.

It's truly sad and pathetic. I'd write them down but there were so many of them.

I am so serious. This is worse than Nacho Libre.

This film is awful and a disgrace to Sandler fans. Billy Madison was high when it produced this.

The script was written by 5th graders because the dialogue is stupid and the jokes aren't funny.

Keep in mind I loved Harold and Kumar.

Grandma's Boy was a waste of time and my life. I'm glad it bombed and unhappy it got a 16% on Rotten Tomatoes. It deserves a big fat Zero.

Plain horrible. Very surprised it got a 6.9 on here. Goes to show most of you couldn't recognize cheap lines from good lines if you had Woody Allen or Mel Brooks next to you.

I hated it too. My friend put it on and I couldn't wait for it to end. Mind you, it's not the worst film I've ever seen.

LOL. You're funny!

I found this tedious and unfunny, and I too loved "Harold and Kumar" (the first much more than the second) and most Adam Sandler films. It is indeed worse than "Nacho Libre" – much worse. 3/10 stars from me based on the talent involved, who had very little to work with here.

I felt myself getting dumber the more I watched this movie. If you were to tell this story to someone, it would be funny. It sort of reminded me of Bob and Doug Mckenzie's "Strange Brew" as a story. Some (not many) of the one liners were classic. Most of the actors have done well in other movies. It's not like they chose to suck just for this movie.

This is a perfect example of how an inept director can ruin a movie.

Nacho Libre is amazing.

This confession has meant nothing.

OK, I'm going to attempt to settle this discussion right now.

If you smoked pot in high school - You like Grandma's Boy

If you didn't - You don't

The film's humor is contingent on the fact that you are or once were a stoner. If not you're just not going to get it. Unless for some reason or another you spent alot of time around potheads...

I agree with the OP. This movie was just lazy and the jokes were so corny they didn't work. But people think stuff like a smoking monkey, a guy making out with a grandma, a guy immitating a robot, getting caught wacking off by the guy's mom, an african guy making click-clock sounds, stoned grandmas, etc. are funny. The characters were just too unlikable for me to care (except for Linda Cardellini).

I maybe laughed minorly about once or twice but nothing big. I know the things they wanted us to laugh at but it just didn't work on me. The only bright spots for me were Linda Cardellini (she was hot enough in this!) and that the games actually looked pretty nice. If you want a good stoner comedy, get Pineapple Express (far better and far more entertainning). Even the Harold + Kumar films are better than this.

I think the movie was anything but boring. I honestly didn't anticipate it would make me laugh a few times, but it was a laugh at the stupidity of the joke rather than the joke itself. I thoroughly enjoyed this movie, and would definitely rewatch it at the opportune time.

Worse than Nacho Libre?! Not even close. NL was dreadful, this movie is hilarious

Warning: Smoking Pot could lead to becoming the most decorated Olympian in US history, or President
