... I can understand that everyone has their own tastes, but this was just utter trash in my eyes. How anyone could rate this more than 5 is absolutely beyond me.
I just saw it for the first time this afternoon, and I'd give it a solid "6.0." And not because of the star power of Jackson and Cusack, but of the few (very few) twists in the tale Yea. An evil room; no one by order of mgmt. or ownership is allowed to check into because of its history. Yea. Many people died, some hideous deaths and total fifty-six in all ... Great build up, and suspenseful. But to me it does bring into question the paranormal, or ghosts, demonic possession, phenomena, etc. in an interesting way, and aside from the near psychotic breakdown of the protagonist. But IMO, I think 1939 was a bad year for cognac. Probably tasted like gasoline, and not to be
enjoyed altogether?
