AVOID THIS FILM! Can people stop with the fake reviews!

This is one of the worst most pointless films. Terrible acting and plot. I hate when people just fake sarcastic good reviews just to troll..

The film 1408 is amazing. You're tripping balls if you didn't like it. I remember when the film came out I had to take all my friends and family to go see it in the theater. I think I saw it in the theater about four times, but I brought multiple people with me each time.

Some people obviously really like it. I've seen really obscure low-budget movies where the cast and crew all try to write manufactured glowing reviews on the IMDB to publicize the film, but no one is going to do that years later with a big-budget film that can afford much more sophisticated promotion.

Other people on the IMDB do write blatantly sarcastic "positive" reviews of movies they hated, but that is no more "trolling" than ridiculously hyperbolic negative reviews (WORST. . .MOVIE. . .EVER). I don't think that's what going on here though either. The OP didn't like the movie, I generally did, and some people really did. Those are all perfectly valid opinions.

i can't think of a horror movie i've liked more than this one. 9/10 i recon.

This is not a fake review. I am not a troll. I really liked this movie. I thought the acting was good. However, I am a major fan of Stephen King and have read all his work. I barely recognized this movie from the short story it's based on.

Yes.. Its been a decade almost since this movie came out and people are still writing fake reviews.. lmao at this. You really believe that do ya buddy?
