Did this film make you cry?

I am a 25 year old male and I seem to cry at films like this. Where I would have to have a happy ending in it or I would be haunted for life?

What is wrong with me? Or are others the same?

Yes.

I am 30 years old and I cried at the end, when I realise I had wasted £3 renting this crap. £3 that could have gone on a packet of Marlboro Lights. :(

I did cry...

I am far to macho to cry, but, even if this wasn’t the case, I really don’t think this movie would cause me to cry.

Yes, I cried of laughing too much at the Grandpa.

..And at Dwayne's outburst. He reminds me of myself D:

Of course, I cry when i watch this movie, several times actually, and i also laugh a lot!

Whoever you are, boy or girl, young or old, there is no problem in crying while watching a movie or under any circumstances.

Why would you refrain from crying if those tears come to your eyes!? Just let your body express itself!

After about 4/5 viewings I cried when Grandpa tells Richard that he is proud of him.

The real losers are the people that are so afraid of winning that they don't even try.

I nearly did..but usually when watching films with people/in the cinema I can't seem to cry as well.. like i wont stop myself.. but it never happens.. but i do get very teary..

The scene when Dwayne breaks down and when Olive asks if she's pretty..
very good acting.. and very upsetting

Come and get it, bitches.

Aw, don't feel bad! I sorta welled up at this movie too. Especially when Dwayne found out he was colorblind, and then at the end.

reply

Same with JtlRudy. From the time Frank stands up, clapping to the end of the movie, I'm practically crying

reply

I was like laughing at crying at the same time.. tears of happiness. cant describe it. never experienced something like that in a film before. absolutely wonderful to see all the family members dancing to that song in such a ridiculously way to protect and support Olive. Jesus it was amazing, when Frank stood up and clapped his hands. so freakin hilarious.

LOL im a 29 year old male and i cried 4 times

I almost cried in the ending. The movie wasn't sad at all, but it was until the movie was almost over when I almost began to cry. It was so touching when its theme music popped up when the family turned alright for once.

yeah when the family dances together it always makes me cry. i thought i was weird for crying at it, but it's nice to know i'm not alone. to me it was so powerful, the family finally coming and bonding together, and representing the average joe saying $%^# you to The Man.

and I love the use of Superfreak because it works on a couple of levels. they're all looking at the family like they're the freaks, but the people running the pageant are the real freaks; vain, elitist, exploiting their children.

maybe i'm reading too much into it but the scene just does so much for me personally, and i suppose part of that is because i never felt too close to my own family.
