Who knew Jessica Biel could act?

I didn't, before I saw this movie. She was actually really good.

I agree. She was terrific, but the film itself had a great cast IMO. Edward Norton, Paul Giamatti and Rufus Sewell were all excellent too.

Who cares? I just like looking at her. She has a tremendous looking butt!

I never thought she gave any bad performances.

Volker Flenske: (While torturing David) I don't know why you're doing this to yourself!

Watching it right now...very bad accent(but to be fair so was Norton's) and a mediocre overall performance. There are probably actresses doing regional theater right now...that could have done that role just as well or better.

I don't usually find her appealing, charismatic or talented. But in this film she was all three. I was quite ashamed of the low expectations I went in with. I think that pink dress had a lot to do with it though.

The mirror... it's broken.
Yes, I know. I like it that way. Makes me look the way I feel.

reply

It is just opinion, of course, but I thought she nearly ruined the movie. It is a good thing she married well; her career seems stalled, and this film is one reason.

reply

I thought she did pretty good in this movie.

In this? No.
